Our Sweet Elderberry wine is back in stock. Elderberries are famously healthy for a variety of reasons, and have a broad range of uses in folk medicine. We grow them all over the farm because they are pollinator friendly and fast growing. We can make wine from either the tree’s small white flowers or its deep purple fruit. Each batch of our Elderberry Melomel is a limited edition because we work within what Mother Nature gives us each season–which can vary wildly these days.
This deep pink honey wine has the earthy aromas of a spring morning. The light, bright sweetness fades into subtle anise and a hint of bitters– quintessential to the elderberry’s nature. Very smooth and refreshing. Serve chilled.
