Workshop This activity is designed for a fun family learning experience, and it is child friendly. Come and learn a little about what our pollinators need to survive and specifically how we can help the honey bees by planting bee friendly plants (rain or shine so dress appropriately). Hear about the bees and their role in our food production. You will receive a short informational session on honey bees, experience in planting seeds/plants, a pkg of seeds to plant when you return home, as well as a pkg of 10 honey straws or small jar of honey (whichever you choose). Come back in the summer during the sunflower patch days or for a bee garden demonstration tour, to see the end result of beneficial planting for the bees.
